Girl Scouts Camp Sessions

It is with great pleasure to present the Girl Scouts- Western Oklahoma, Inc.‟s inaugural camp season! We are excited to bring to you a combined camp program full of traditions and new opportunities. With the intent of serving the girls in the best way possible, the decision was made not to open Camp Red Rock for the 2008 resident camp season. Instead resident camps will be held at Camp Kate Portwood and Camp E-Ko-Wah which have ropes courses, rappelling areas, swimming pools and more! While Camp Red Rock is near and dear to many hearts rest assured we will be working in this first year to address the utilization of all of our camp properties and make decisions that are both fiscally sound and exciting to girls, parents and volunteers alike! GS-West will have three properties open for programming for the 2008 camp season Cookieland, Camp Kate Port-wood and Camp E-Ko-Wah. During the month of June, programming will be provided at Cookieland for a full (day) day camp and Camp Kate Port-wood for resident camp. For the month of July Camp E-Ko-Wah will have resident camp.

will form while older traditions from each property will be maintained. We very much look forward to meeting new friends while keeping the old. This is true of our camp properties as well! We are excited and optimistic of the opportunities which lie ahead of us all! It is our intent to have an amazing camp season with new and exciting programs.
