Mom-n-Me

This weekend will emphasize teamwork between “Mom” and “Me”, combined with lots of fun camp activities. If your “Mom” (mom, aunt, grandmother or guardian) is the perfect teammate for you at camp, then this session is for the both of you! Explore camp while discovering each others skills and talents with arts & crafts, swimming, hiking and all the other wonderful activities offered at camp! Camp staff will be housed in cabins and tents nearby.

Brownie Session: Summer Fun

If you are ready for a full week of resident camp, then this session is for you! Patrols of campers, guided by camp counselors, will enjoy all the traditional activities resident camp has to offer, like singing, swimming, arts & crafts, target sports, sames and so much more! On the last night - you will experience Camp Fire Magic! Groups of girls will be housed together in cabins with counselors living in seperate cabins in the same unit.

Junior Session: Horses Level 1

If you've never ridden a horse on your own before, this session is for you! During this session you will learn the basics of western riding by attending four riding sessions. (arena lessons included) and un-mounted workshops. Patrols of campers, led by counselors will also enjoy all the great things resident camp has to offer, like swimming, singing, and target sports. By the end of the week, you will have several new friends and one very special one - your horse.

Brownie and Junior session: Water Bug

Do your love the water? This is a great way to have fun in the pool, get to know the lifeguards and earn some badges! You will still have time to enjoy traditional camp activities.

Cadette and Senior Session: Level 1 Rappelling

If you love the mountains at Camp Kate and are looking for a little adventure, then this is the session for you! Sharpen those outdoor woman skills by learning the basics of knot-tying and the proper way to come down the mountain! You will have time to do other activities such as swimming, target sports and much, much more.

Grades/Ages: 7th to 12th Grade

Cadette and Senior: Level 4 Horses

Prerequisite: Successful attendance  Hot to Trot (Level 3 horseback), or can saddle/bridle and control a horse at a walk, trot and canter. This session is for the confident horsewoman who wants to raise her equesterian skills to the next level. Along with your regular activities at camp, you will get advanced lessons in the arena, take longer trail rides, and put on a mini-rodeo for the rest of the campers. An exciting trip will finish off your week when you will be able to expand your horse knowledge even further! Girls will go home over the weekend. Parents will need to pick up and return girls to camp for the second session.

Do you love to rappel? Are you adventurous? Come and enjoy two weeks of rappelling and climbing adventures with us. Week one you will spend rappelling and exploring the wonderful sites at Camp Kate, then you will travel to Tulsa in a camper exchange! At Magic Empire you will enjoy a week exploring their facilities and High adventure elements. Come prepared for the adventure of a lifetime. Campers will go home over the weekend. Parents will need to pick up and return girls to camp for the second week session.
